Large 1 Bdrm Light Filled with City Views, South Yarra

Positive: Really cozy, nice little apartment equipped with everything you need. It was in walking distance to the Royal Botanical Garden, South Yarras shopping district and (if you like being on foot) to Melbourne‘s CBD. For everyone who rather takes the bus, there is a bus stop in 2-3 minutes walking distance. The apartment has a washer and dryer and a parking permit (although finding a parking spot could be a little difficult). The owner is very friendly and attentive! Negative: On arrival the apartment was quite dirty. It actually looked like nobody has cleaned it for a very long time. The owner was very helpful and offered to sent over their cleaner, which was very much appreciated. The heating is not as strong as it should be, which was fine for November, but I can imagine that it gets a bit cold in Australia‘s winter months, as other reviews stated.

Positive: The Cafe below coffee was great Negative: The apartment has not been maintained. The shower flooded, and there was a problem with the kitchen tap. The lounge was uncomfortable, and the table for eating meals was ridiculous.

Like a comforting home away from home Positive: I loved everything about my stay in South Yarra. It was a close easy walk to many locations and public transport options. The place had a gorgeous homely charm, and a useful kitchen but being able to fall into the most comfortable bed at the end of some long days was heaven.

Positive: Perfect location, walking distance to everything that we needed. Bed was super comfy and it was quiet.
